The Syrian Firefly: A safe haven for vulnerable children, offering security, friendship, and engaging learning in a supportive environment
We have distributed educational resource kits—containing electrical and electronic tools—to our students at both Al-Fatih Institute in Antakya and the Syrian Firefly Center in Khirbet Al-Jouz, inside Syria.
These kits will enable our students to conduct practical applications of the electrical circuits they previously designed using an electronic circuit design program during the past two months as part of Level 1 of our Electrical Sciences Program.
By the end of this course, we aim for our students to advance towards the software programming phase.
We extend our sincere thanks to the administration of Al-Fatih Institute in Antakya and to our dedicated teaching staff in both Antakya and Syria. We also wish our students great success in achieving their scientific goals through these enriching activities.
Our remarkable children continue their journey of learning the Arabic language through the Syrian Firefly Center’s distance learning programs in Antakya and Kayseri.
It was a special day as we welcomed our students in small groups along with their mothers to receive the educational resources needed for the upcoming month.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the parents for their dedication and daily involvement with our teachers, which greatly contributes to the success and well-being of our children.
Additionally, we conducted individual baseline assessments in mathematics and Arabic to prepare our students for the start of new classes within the distance learning program.
